- Le Choucas — closed for good after 70 years in business, following noise-related complaints from neighbours. There's no point looking for it — the venue no longer exists

Expect around €6-9 for a standard draught beer and €10-14 for a cocktail at most bars in the centre; Les Caves sits toward the higher end of that range for its cocktails and grand crus. Bar d’Up and happy hours generally can meaningfully cut the bill early in the evening.
Tipping isn’t mandatory in France (service is included in the bill), but leaving the change or rounding up for good service is appreciated, especially at lively spots like Chambre Neuf or MBC during peak season.
