Our roles

The roles we are hiring for

Cleaning is our permanent need: we recruit housekeeping staff every season without a break. Two other roles open up regularly.

Main role

Housekeeper

The turnover between two stays: hotel-standard cleaning, setting out the hotel linen, restocking and reporting anything amiss. Rounds are prepared the evening before — these are not one-off jobs.

Regularly

Maintenance technician

Small repairs, work between stays, and looking after the equipment in the properties we manage. A varied role, covering the whole valley.

Regularly

Digital marketing & AI

Content, search, online campaigns, automation and AI tooling, in service of marketing our properties and our brands.

What we provide

What we cover, role by role

Coming to work a season in the valley is expensive, and that is usually what puts people off. We take on the big costs — but not the same ones for every role, so it is worth being precise.

For our housekeeping staff

For maintenance and marketing

Your food is the only cost that stays with you, along with your travel to get to the valley. On the accommodation side, Wi-Fi is present in some of the studios only — we tell you which before you arrive, property by property, so nothing is a surprise on the day.

A driving licence is required for every role, and all of our vehicles are manual — there is not a single automatic in the fleet. Better to say so before you fill in the form.

Pay

The role is paid at the French minimum wage (SMIC), on an employment contract. In high season there is a lot of overtime and it is always paid — that is where the payslip makes the difference. No disguised self-employment: you are an employee of Care Concierge.

Accommodation

A shared studio for our housekeeping staff

Staff accommodation is reserved for housekeeping roles, because those are the people who most often come from elsewhere for the season. Most of it is studios designed for two people.

That is why applying as a pair is the easiest arrangement for us: a couple, or two friends who want to work the same season and share the same place.

It is not a condition of being hired. We take on people applying alone too, and we then find the best accommodation available. But if you are applying as a pair, say so in the form — it is usually simpler for us to organise and more comfortable for you.

Contracts

Two seasons, plus year-round roles

April – May

The summer season begins. The first contracts start depending on the weather and the pace of bookings.

September

End of the summer season. Some of the team goes straight on into the winter.

Mid-December

The winter season begins, around Christmas week — our most intense period of the year.

End of March

End of the winter season.

We are also looking for people available year-round, and we are glad to take back staff who want to return from one season to the next. Part of our team comes back every season.

Who can apply

Four languages in the team, and a large Argentinian community

Our teams work in French, English, Spanish and Arabic. Language has never been a reason for us to turn someone down, so do not talk yourself out of contacting us because you think your French is not good enough.

A large part of our team comes from Argentina. If you are Argentinian, or a Spanish speaker, that is an advantage here: your colleagues translate day to day, look after you through the first few weeks and help you settle in. Arriving in a valley where people already speak your language changes everything.

We do not discriminate — not on origin, not on age, not on sex, not on family situation. What we look at is reliability.

If you need a residence permit or help regularising your situation, tell us. We deal with this regularly and we will help you put the file together.

The company

A family business that became a group

Care Concierge started in the valley as a small family business. In five years it has become one of the largest property management companies in the area — and one of the few that has stayed local.

We no longer only manage properties: we buy them, we invest, and we acquire companies.

The group today

For you that means one simple thing: there is room to move up. We train internally, we promote internally, and we are looking for people who want to grow with us rather than do one season and disappear.

We can teach anyone to clean a property perfectly. We cannot teach anyone to turn up in the morning with the right attitude. That is the only thing we really ask for.

Your questions

Working at Care Concierge: frequently asked questions

No. Thoroughness matters more than experience. Hotel experience is a plus, never a condition. Training is done in-house from day one, with an area manager you can reach.

Yes, bills included — but only for housekeeping roles. It is usually a furnished studio designed for two people, close to your working area. Wi-Fi is present in some of the accommodation only, and we tell you which before you arrive.

Yes, and it is actually the simplest arrangement for us, since our accommodation is designed for two. Mention it in the form so we can organise the accommodation accordingly.

The French minimum wage (SMIC), on an employment contract, with plenty of overtime that is always paid in high season. Accommodation, the vehicle, fuel and insurance are not deducted from your wage.

The summer season starts in April or May and ends in September. The winter season starts in mid-December, around Christmas week, and ends at the end of March. We also offer year-round positions.

No. Our teams work in French, English, Spanish and Arabic. A large part of the team is Argentinian, so if you are a Spanish speaker you will find colleagues on site who translate and help you settle in.

Tell us in your application. We regularly employ people whose paperwork is in progress and we help you put the file together.

Yes, without exception. A driving licence is required for every one of our roles: the rounds run from one commune to the next and the work simply cannot be done without driving.

One important detail: all of our vehicles are manual. There is not a single automatic in the fleet. If you have only ever driven an automatic, you need to know that before applying — it is the one condition we cannot be flexible on.

Yes, whenever they want to come back. It is what we prefer: someone who already knows the properties and the procedures is productive immediately.

No, and it is worth knowing before you apply. Staff accommodation and a work vehicle are reserved for housekeeping roles. For maintenance and marketing we assume you already live in the valley: we then reimburse your work travel through a mileage allowance, and make a work van available if you do not have a vehicle of your own.
