We recruit all year round across the valley, from Chamonix to Megève. For our housekeeping staff, a vehicle is provided, and accommodation can be, depending on what is free. Our teams work in French, English, Spanish and Arabic — language has never been a reason for us to turn someone down.

No position open at the moment. We recruit for this from time to time.
Employed by Care Concierge and trained in-house.
One covering the Chamonix valley, one covering Sallanches and Megève.
Les Houches, Sallanches and Megève.
From Argentière to Praz-sur-Arly.
Our roles
Cleaning is our permanent need: we recruit housekeeping staff every season without a break. Two other roles open up regularly.
Open role
The turnover between two stays: hotel-standard cleaning, setting out the hotel linen, restocking and reporting anything amiss. Rounds are prepared the evening before — these are not one-off jobs.
Role filled
You run housekeeping across the lower valley from our Sallanches office: Sallanches, Passy, Megève and the neighbouring communes. You lead the team in your area, plan the turnovers between stays and make sure every property is right before the guests arrive. Full-time, year-round.
Role filled
At the heart of the guest experience, from the first enquiry to the end of the stay: Airbnb, Booking and WhatsApp messages, bookings tracked in our PMS, requests and disputes handled.
Open role
Small repairs, work between stays, and looking after the equipment in the properties we manage. A varied role, covering the whole valley.

What we provide
Coming to work a season in the valley is expensive, and that is usually what puts people off. We take on the big costs — but not the same ones for every role, so it is worth being precise.
For our housekeeping staff
For maintenance and marketing
Your food is the only cost that stays with you, along with your travel to get to the valley. On the accommodation side, Wi-Fi is present in some of the studios only — we tell you which before you arrive, property by property, so nothing is a surprise on the day.
A driving licence is required for every role, and all of our vehicles are manual — there is not a single automatic in the fleet. Better to say so before you fill in the form.
You must already have the right to work in France. We cannot sponsor a visa or start an application from abroad. We can look at your application if you are an EU, EEA or Swiss national, if you hold a French residence permit that allows you to work, or if you are already in France with an application under way. Outside of those situations we cannot take it forward — and we are not able to reply to every application of that kind.
Most of our roles need no previous experience at all — housekeeping and the booking and communications side in particular. We would rather take on someone reliable who wants to learn and train them ourselves than insist on a CV that is already full.
The role is paid at the French minimum wage (SMIC), on an employment contract. In high season there is a lot of overtime and it is always paid — that is where the payslip makes the difference. No disguised self-employment: you are an employee of Care Concierge.
If you arrive with real experience behind you — a qualified technician, several years in housekeeping or hotels, a background in communications or reservations, several languages — the pay is open to discussion and adjusted accordingly. Just say so in your application.
Accommodation
Staff accommodation is reserved for housekeeping roles, because those are the people who most often come from elsewhere for the season. Most of it is studios designed for two people, and we do not have an unlimited number of them.
So it is not automatic. We allocate it according to what is free and what you actually need: applying as a pair — a couple, or two friends who want to work the same season — is the easiest to house, since the studios are built for two. If you already live in the valley, or you would rather keep your own place, we keep the studio for someone who needs it.
The studios go in the order people are hired — first come, first served. Once they are all taken, we house people in two-bedroom flats on a shared basis: you keep your own bedroom and share the living room and kitchen with another person, another couple or two other friends.
Turning down accommodation costs you nothing — the opposite. Accommodation is a benefit in kind, so the pay is higher for people who do not take it. Just tell us in the form whether you need accommodation or not.
Contracts
The summer season begins. The first contracts start depending on the weather and the pace of bookings.
End of the summer season. Some of the team goes straight on into the winter.
The winter season begins, around Christmas week — our most intense period of the year.
End of the winter season.
We are also looking for people available year-round, and we are glad to take back staff who want to return from one season to the next. Part of our team comes back every season.
Who can apply
Our teams work in French, English, Spanish and Arabic. Language has never been a reason for us to turn someone down, so do not talk yourself out of contacting us because you think your French is not good enough.
A large part of our team comes from Argentina. If you are Argentinian, or a Spanish speaker, that is an advantage here: your colleagues translate day to day, look after you through the first few weeks and help you settle in. Arriving in a valley where people already speak your language changes everything.
We do not discriminate — not on origin, not on age, not on sex, not on family situation. What we look at is reliability.
The right to work in France, though, is not negotiable: you need to be an EU, EEA or Swiss national, to hold a residence permit that allows you to work, or to be in France already with an application under way. If your application is under way, tell us — we are used to it and we help you put the file together. What we cannot do is bring someone over from abroad or sponsor a visa.
Life on the team
At the end of every season the whole team gets together — a proper meal and, this year, paintball in the woods. Every season there are a few more of us.

The company
Care Concierge started in the valley as a small family business. In five years it has become one of the largest property management companies in the area — and one of the few that has stayed local.
We no longer only manage properties: we buy them, we invest, and we acquire companies.
The group today
For you that means one simple thing: there is room to move up. We train internally, we promote internally, and we are looking for people who want to grow with us rather than do one season and disappear.
We can teach anyone to clean a property perfectly. We cannot teach anyone to turn up in the morning with the right attitude. That is the only thing we really ask for.
Your questions
No. Thoroughness matters more than experience. Hotel experience is a plus, never a condition. Training is done in-house from day one, with an area manager you can reach.
Yes, bills included — but only for housekeeping roles. It is usually a furnished studio designed for two people, close to your working area. Wi-Fi is present in some of the accommodation only, and we tell you which before you arrive.
It is not automatic, though: the studios are limited in number and they go first to people arriving from outside the valley for the season. If you do not take accommodation, your pay is higher — accommodation is a benefit in kind.
The studios go in the order people are hired, first come first served. Once they are all taken, accommodation is in a two-bedroom flat shared with another person or another pair.
Yes, and it is actually the simplest arrangement for us, since our accommodation is designed for two. Mention it in the form so we can organise the accommodation accordingly.
The summer season starts in April or May and ends in September. The winter season starts in mid-December, around Christmas week, and ends at the end of March. We also offer year-round positions.
No. Our teams work in French, English, Spanish and Arabic. A large part of the team is Argentinian, so if you are a Spanish speaker you will find colleagues on site who translate and help you settle in.
If you are already in France and your application is under way, tell us in your application: we regularly employ people whose paperwork is in progress and we help put the file together. What we cannot do is take on someone with no right to work in France, or start an application from abroad.
Only if you already have the right to work in France: an EU, EEA or Swiss national, or the holder of a French residence permit that allows you to work. We do not sponsor visas, and we are not able to reply to every application that does not meet that condition.
Yes, without exception. A driving licence is required for every one of our roles: the rounds run from one commune to the next and the work simply cannot be done without driving.
One important detail: all of our vehicles are manual. There is not a single automatic in the fleet. If you have only ever driven an automatic, you need to know that before applying — it is the one condition we cannot be flexible on.
Yes, whenever they want to come back. It is what we prefer: someone who already knows the properties and the procedures is productive immediately.
No, and it is worth knowing before you apply. Staff accommodation and a work vehicle are reserved for housekeeping roles. For maintenance and marketing we assume you already live in the valley: we then reimburse your work travel through a mileage allowance, and make a work van available if you do not have a vehicle of your own.

Your details are used for recruitment only and are never passed to third parties. You can attach up to two CVs if you are applying as a pair. Accepted formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG, PNG. Without the right to work in France we are unfortunately not able to take an application forward.
